Where do we come from?

From the last post you will have an idea of what we will be doing when we are in Sweden but you probably have no idea who we are and where we come from (unless you have found this blog site via the RCCC website that is). Hopefully this post will help with that.

 We are 16 ladies from across Scotland. We come from the west coast and the east coast and all areas in between as can be seen from the map below.
Where we all come from
We play for lots of different curling clubs:

Morag - Fossoway Ladies
Val and Linsey - Doune
Corrie - Beresford Ladies
Nina - St Boswells
Lynne - Raith & Abbotshall
Jennifer and Jan - Hercules Ladies
Fiona - Falkirk Ladies
Lorna - Ayr
Liz -Earlston
Rhona - Muthill
Lillias - Coulter
Gill - Strathendrick

 One of the main aims of the tour is for ladies to 'mix and match' both on the ice and off it. We are all looking forward to curling with ladies we would not normally curl with and getting to know each other better throughout the trip whether that be on the plane, the coach, over food and drinks or whilst sharing a room. Who knows what new teams and friendships will come out of this tour.

    On behalf of all the "other halves" left behind when the ladies go off to curl and party we wish you a hugely successful, enjoyable and memorable Tour. Good competitive curling and good competitive socialising!!.

      Thanks Euan. I am trying to make my luggage small enough that I don't have to travel to Edinburgh on the roof of your car!
