9th October 2013

This is my first attempt to post a blog from the 'computer' I hope to take with me on tour.

Downloading photos from a camera, uploading into Picassa, writing the blog and adding photos from the correct album are all being attempted today.

It must work because we are having our final pre-tour meeting on Sunday when we hope to be able to tick all the boxes and agree that we are ready to GO.

I know the pile of 'goodies' on the spare bed has grown over the last few months so I'm hoping I can find a suitcase to accommodate it all - that I can still lift when full!

We will have a long entertainment session on Sunday so I hope someone will remember the lubricating liquid to keep our vocal cords in shape.

The photo is nothing to do with the tour it was just on my camera in case you thought David Stirling (founder of the SAS) had anything to do with curling!

All has not gone well - I had to finish the post via the 'big' computer. Why did it not work? Is the picture still to big at only 350kb? Does anyone have a suggestion?

This was a second attempt on the 'small computer' and I can add a photo and give it a caption but can I publish it? Yes, thank goodness!!
